He has been engaging in study on the synthesis and application technology of high-performance polymer materials and student cultivation, and have developed a new idea of designing high performance polymers and developed a new series of high performance heterocyclic engineering polymers with unique structures, which have good solubility and excellent thermal properties, and have been widely used in aerospace, nuclear power, electronic and electrical, petrochemical, precision machinery, environmental protection and other fields.
Up to now, he won the second prize of National Technology invention in 2003 and the second prize of National Technology invention in 2011, and the Gold Award of China patent in 2015. He has obtained 30 invention patents, in which 2 patents were rated as major scientific and technological achievements of Chinese people in the world, and his 12 technologies have been industrialized.
