During the past 20 years research has been in the area of crystal growth, purification initial materials and development of crystal growth technique. Major emphasis on scintillation crystals, cryogenic scintillation crystals and also on isotope enriched crystals. The original method of crystal growth (LTG Cz extremely low temperature gradient) and deep purification of raw materials for crystals growth has led to record results. Due to low radioactive contamination, crystals are used as cryogenic scintillation bolometers in underground laboratories (LUMINEU, AMoRE, COPID-Mo projects) to search rare events. This research has led to many world firsts results but also used in innovation. These approaches are used for the full-scale production of the highest quality BGO crystals.
