The main scientific results of Nikitov SA:
- the fundamentals of nonlinear dynamics of spin waves in magnetic films were developed, a theory of their propagation and relaxation, a theory of their self-action and self-modulation were built, a new mechanism of spin-phonon relaxation and phase cross-modulation was predicted;
- methods of magnetic contact printing and research of micromagnetic structures, based on spectral and correlation analysis, were proposed, tested and introduced;
- developed a method of magneto-optical visualization of micromagnetic objects;
- principles of frequency selection devices of the new generation (at frequencies of 0.8-5 GHz) for surface acoustic waves were developed and the technology for their production was created;
- a new class of magnetic materials, magneto-photonic crystals, promising for the creation of fundamentally new information processing devices, was proposed and investigated;
- developed on the basis of new information technologies principles of the management system of institutions, the system is implemented and operates in domestic organizations.
