Power electronics and related technologies
Scientific interests are related to the development and research of power electronics systems and devices for autonomous and distributed power engineering, as well as mechatronic systems containing electromechanical devices and semiconductor control systems.
The main scientific results are related to the development of the methodological foundations of the theory and practice of building highly efficient systems for generating electrical energy based on magnetoelectric synchronous generators and semiconductor converters in which the mechanical energy of a rotating shaft with variable speed is converted into electrical energy. Such systems are widely used in renewable energy and in vehicles for various purposes. The main theoretical results of scientific activity relate to the proposal and development of the theory of analysis of nonlinear electrical circuits with semiconductor key elements when powered from non-sinusoidal sources of electrical energy, based on the isomorphism of four-dimensional spatial vectors and temporal functions of the Hilbert space.
