He led a number of major developments in ground-based and space-based transport power plants, and was directly involved in the creation and testing of unique high-temperature gas-cooled reactors — IVG-1, a ground-based prototype nuclear rocket engine (NRE), a prototype of a gas-dynamic laser; as well as technological lines for the production of high-temperature materials, including nuclear fuel, energy converters ethical installations; the initiator of the development direction for the creation of technologies for cermet fuel reactors of nuclear power plants.
Together with the staff, he performed a wide cycle of research on the creation of micro-fuel elements and fuel rods for research, transport and power reactors of the future.
