Jau-Ho Jean

Dr. Jau-Ho Jean is the founder of ACX Corp., which is the leading manufacturer of high-frequency multilayer ceramic devices and modules for wireless communication, and publically listed on the stock market in Taiwan. He is also a distinguished professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National Tsing Hua University. He earned his Ph.D. in ceramics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the National Tsing Hua University, he held positions in the US industry. His work on multilayer electronic ceramic devices has resulted in more than 130 SCI-journal publications and 38 patents. He is also an editor of two books on multilayer electronic ceramic devices, published by the American Ceramic Society. Dr. Jean was the recipient of

(1) Fellow of the American Ceramic Society (2001).

(2) Distinguished Research Award from the National Science Council, Taiwan (2003-2005)

(3) Ceramic Medal from the Taiwan Ceramic Society (The highest award given by the Society)(2005)

(4) Outstanding Teaching Award from the Engineeging School of National Tsing Hua University (2005,2016)

(5) Distinguished Technology Advancement Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan (2008)

(6) Fellow of the Materials Research Society-Taiwan (2009).

(7) Outstanding Teaching Award from the National Tsing Hua University (2016)

(8) Lu ZH Award from the Materials Research Society- Taiwan (The highest award given by the Society) (2018).
